Age

Must be 6 years or older.

Skill Level

We welcome anyone, from first-day beginners to experienced skaters!

Requirements

At the time of the lesson each participant is required to have a helmet and skateboard, which can be of their choice. (Helmets and Skateboards need to be pre-purchased, and are not provided).

Concentrated Lessons - $35

For class lessons we are still working with Folsom's Park and Recreation on gathering a spot, hopefully (fingers crossed) we can use the skatepark! Each individual student you bring (up to 4) will be charged an additional $20 (42% off full price).

Lesson locations are flexible, we are most comfortable in the Folsom, California area

Specifically:

Folsom, Granite Bay, Citrus Heights, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Cameron Park, & Orangevale.

Landin O'Brien - CEO and Founder

Hello! I am Landin O’Brien the CEO and Founder of Mango Skate! I was born and raised in Folsom, California. I recently graduated from Folsom High School with hopes of taking my skateboarding career to a higher level. I am currently attending Folsom Lake college to begin majoring in Computer Science. I started my passion for skateboarding at a very young age and began taking skating more seriously my freshman year of high school. I have a very vast knowledge on the topic of skateboarding, including technique, form and vocabulary. I am excited to spread my knowledge and skill to others interested in the art of skateboarding.

Mango Skate's Origin

Right now you might be wondering... why Mango? When I started skateboarding I learned how to push incorrectly and it is called “pushing mongo”, for the longest time I would say "mango-mongo same thing". It also represents that if you don't get something correct the first time, through perseverance you can achieve your goal with passion and resilience.
